dc.description.abstractEl uso excesivo de plástico se ha convertido en uno de los principales problemas ambientales a nivel mundial. Diariamente, diversos tipos de residuos plásticos se vierten en océanos y ríos, causando graves daños a los ecosistemas y a la salud humana. Estos plásticos en la superficie marina liberan metano y gases de efecto invernadero, y las emisiones aumentan a medida que se degradan. Según la UICN (Unión Internacional para la Conservación de la Naturaleza), se producen 460 millones de toneladas de plástico al año, de las cuales 20 millones terminan en el medio ambiente, tardando entre 65 y 1000 años en degradarse. Esta situación ha impulsado a los mercados internacionales a adoptar regulaciones más estrictas y a buscar soluciones sostenibles para reducir el impacto ambiental. En este contexto, Terraplastik Pack surge como una respuesta innovadora a la crisis ambiental causada por el uso generalizado de plásticos convencionales. La empresa ofrece alternativas biodegradables elaboradas con materias primas como la yuca y el coco, contribuyendo a reducir la contaminación que afecta a los océanos y a la biodiversidad. Su enfoque en la economía circular y la innovación tecnológica busca no solo reemplazar materiales altamente contaminantes, sino también promover una industria del embalaje más responsable y alineada con las regulaciones internacionales de sostenibilidad.Este estudio se centra en evaluar la viabilidad de que Terraplastik Pack exporte este tipo de envase a mercados extranjeros. Para ello, se analizarán factores clave como la demanda internacional, la normativa vigente, los canales de distribución, la competencia y la capacidad de exportación proyectada de la empresa en su fase de crecimiento. De este modo, buscamos comprender a fondo las oportunidades para el lanzamiento del producto en los mercados globales, al tiempo que fomentamos la innovación empresarial y la adopción de prácticas sostenibles alineadas con los objetivos internacionales de desarrollo ambientalspa
dc.description.abstractenglishExcessive plastic use has become one of the major environmental issues worldwide. Every day, diverse types of plastic waste are dumped into oceans and rivers, causing serious harm to ecosystems and human health. These plastics on the ocean's surface release methane and greenhouse gases, with emissions increasing as the plastics break down. According to the IUCN International Union for Conservation of Nature, 460 million tons of plastic are produced annually, and 20 million tons end up in the environment, taking between 65 and 1,000 years to degrade. This situation has prompted international markets to adopt stricter regulations and pursue sustainable solutions to lessen the environmental impact. Against this backdrop, Terraplastik Pack emerges as an innovative response to the environmental crisis caused by the widespread use of conventional plastics. The company offers biodegradable alternatives made from raw materials such as cassava and coconut, helping to reduce pollution that affects oceans and biodiversity. Its focus on the circular economy and technological innovation seeks not only to replace highly polluting materials, but also to promote a more responsible packaging industry aligned with international sustainability regulations. This study focuses on assessing the feasibility for Terraplastik Pack to export this type of packaging to foreign markets. To achieve this, key factors such as international demand, current regulations, distribution channels, competition, and the company's projected export capacity as a growing venture will be analyzed.
